March 12th
Marshfield Area Empty Bowls
All proceeds of the Marshfield Area Empty Bowls event go directly to Soup Or Socks. This is a volunteer-run food pantry and clothes closet dedicated to providing clothes and/or food, at no charge, for those in need throughout the greater Marshfield area. Here’s the details:
Time: 11am—2pm
Location: Hotel Marshfield (Marshfield)
Cost: $5.00—$15.00 per person
March 17 -18
The Wizard of Oz
Enjoy a performance of The Wizard of Oz by the Marshfield Area Youth Actors.
Location: Chestnut Center of the Arts (Marshfield)
Cost: $12.00. Reserved seating only
March 18-20
The Dairy State Steel Guitar Show
This annual event is filled with local, regional and world renowned steel guitar players!
Location: Hotel Mead (Wisconsin Rapids)
Cost: $15.00—$25.00 per person

Ice Fishing
Lake Dexterville: As of 3/3/16, the ice was still 14 inches thick, and they’ve been catching blue gills, crappies, perch and bass.
Big Eau Pleine Reservoir: Here you’ll find blue gills, large-mouth bass and muskies under the ice!
Cross Country Skiing
Richfield Area Ski Touring Trail: Located 7 miles north of Pittsville on County Trunk Highway A, this trail offers a 1 mile, 2 mile or 5 mile marked trail in open fields, forests and across Puff Creek!

Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum • Stevens Point
A great place where children and adults can play and explore together through hands-on investigation. This is for ages 6 months to 10 years of age.
The Highground Veterans Memorial Park & Learning Center • Neillsville
Located on 140 acres, this Memorial Park has several monuments, a dove effigy mound, meditation garden, hiking trails and a living tribute called The Gold Star. There is also a Learning Center which encourages veterans and families to share their experiences.
