Employee Spotlight with Jenna Kramer

Jenna joined the Hotel Marshfield team in January 2014 as our Social Sales Manager. She came to the hotel with over 10 years of sales experience. As our dedicated Social Sales Manager, she’s in charge of planning a variety of events at the hotel such as weddings, holiday gatherings and anniversary & birthday parties. Her goal is to ensure that all clients stay organized for a stress-free and fun event!

Q & A with Jenna

Hotel Marshfield: What 3 things do you need to be successful in your position as Social Sales Manager?
Jenna: To be very organized! When dealing with a variety of different weddings, organization is key! You have to have patience with the guests during the planning process. Even though I do this every day, this may be the first event they’ve planned. Having an upbeat and happy attitude! Weddings are exciting and should be a happy time!

Hotel Marshfield: What part of your job do you enjoy the most?
Jenna: Getting to meet a lot of unique and interesting couples. Everyone has such different tastes, it’s neat to see the final product of each wedding.

Hotel Marshfield: What is your hidden talent that we have yet to uncover?
Jenna: I’m a really good cook!
Hotel Marshfield: What time should we come over for dinner? 😉

Hotel Marshfield: What was one of the best parties you’ve ever been to? What made it so memorable for you?
Jenna: The 2015 MACCI Christmas Business After 5 event at Hotel Marshfield. I was able to help decorate/plan this event, and it was awesome! All the hard work and time put into this event was well worth it to see the final result!

Hotel Marshfield: What is your favorite month of the year and why?
Jenna: September. Chilly mornings, pumpkins, camp fires, and fall leaves.

Hotel Marshfield: Sing (or write) a few lines from your favorite song. Don’t tell us the name…
Jenna: I went rocky mountain climbin’, I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named Fumanchu.
And I loved deeper, And I spoke sweeter, and I watched an eagle as it was flyin’.
