If it’s true what they say about time flying when you’re having fun, then we’re totally having a blast over here. Can you believe that it’s already been five years since we reopened our doors at Hotel Marshfield? We sure can’t!

As we take a look back, we are more excited than over to keep this momentum going!  We wouldn’t be here with the support of the Marshfield community and without the dedication from our team and dedicated guests!  Take a peek at a few of our favorite moments of the last five years.

Best of Marshfield Awards by the Marshfield Visitor and Convention Bureau: For the past five years, we have been voted the Best Hotel/Motel by the community and we couldn’t be more proud and thankful! We’re dedicated to remaining the “best” in Marshfield, offering the best possible experience.

Live at Libby’s: Since Libby McNeill’s first opened in October 2013, we have proudly offered live acoustic music for our guests and the community to enjoy! We truly love showcasing the talent of these local and statewide artists. Join us every Wednesday night from 5pm—9pm.

(A lot of) Community Involvement:

• Parades: Every June and November, our employees get to share their creativity with the community by participating in the local Dairyfest and Holiday Parades.
• Rotary Winter Wonderland: Being a newer business in town, Hotel Marshfield has greatly appreciated the warm welcome we have received from the community and we wanted to find a way to give back. We felt it was also a wonderful way for our employees to show their support of a local organization that benefits so many people in our area. Our favorite part of collecting the donations at the gates are the smiles and excitement you see on everyone’s face, young and old alike. They are all in wonder of the lights and singing along to the music as they enter the gate. This event truly embraces the holiday spirit and we love being a part of it!
• MACCI Business After 5: Since our beginning, we’ve played host to MACCI’s December Business After 5, celebrating the holidays with an average of 600 of Marshfield’s business members. We look forward to this event every winter season.
• Iron Chef Competition: We have participated in the past five Shirley’s House of Hope Iron Chef Competitions, and our Chef and his team enjoy every minute of it! And we love getting to show off their talents!
• In-House Events: It is such a joy to be able to provide activities for our community and guests. We know that people need a “night off,” so we like to offer a variety of activities to cover a variety of interests, such as:• Adult Coloring Nights: During the winter months, enjoy a night out by yourself or with your friends and unwind from the holidays, school activities, etc. with our adult coloring nights. All materials are provided and it is free to attend!

  • DIY Nights: Over the past five years we have offered a variety of arts and craft activities such as canvas paintings, string art, and home décor creations. This is not only fun for those who attend, but for the employees who plan these events!

  • Trivia Night: Libby McNeill’s partnered with America’s Pub Quiz trivia last fall to offer area residents and hotel guests something fun to do on a Monday night, because, what else do Monday nights normally offer? Always free and fun to play, APQ subject matter ranges anywhere from music, sports, history and why Simba from the Lion King was so sad. Come alone or with a gaggle of your friends! Nightly prizes awarded! Food and drink specials! But best of all, it’s just a good excuse to get out and put all that useless knowledge to good use!

As our team has reflected on the past five years and have experienced the growth first hand, we will continue to work our hardest to bring the best experience to all of our hotel, restaurant and banquet guests. Thank you for your continued patronage!
